Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

A new gathering in Madrid welcomed religious representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, organised by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, placed emphasis on education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The meeting included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist news eugene from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers offered personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how education can reduce prejudice.

In the discussion, participants addressed themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when supported by education and dialogue.
